Your Opportunity at ARC''TERYX The Senior SAP Functional Consultant Finance conducts the design and deployment of SAP S4 FI/CO solutions by leading project and operational teams in aligning business needs with module and solution functions. You are actively involved in project phases and technological solution support. You will operate closely with business counterparts to design and create SAP solutions which will enable and improve business processes to facilitate business goals and strategies. Our operating environment is SAP S4 Hana Fashion and Vertical Business Solution which is connected to SAP CAR, IBP and ECC AFS. Meet Your Future Team The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization. Core Activities Facilitating the implementation, enhancement and support of SAP S4 FI/CO and associated modules including interfaces (SVS, Adyen, TAS, ECC, Vertex, Blackline, etc.) supporting the Companys business requirements, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders satisfaction Assisting in delivery of all Month end/Year end closing and reports Coordinating and executing Change Requests from Process design through Functional Specifications and Implementation, including coordination of resource partners for end-to-end process coverage Maintaining ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders and peers to gather and interpret user/system requirements, pain points and process issues. Developing and maintaining prioritization of change requests Leading stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities to create blueprints and use cases/user stories Preparing detailed functional specifications for development activities including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms Executing unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing according to Arcteryx standards Ensuring 2nd/3rd level support and liaising with key users to troubleshoot and resolve issues Participating in the development and review of training materials, and taking part in training delivery where required for new releases of SAP or in cases of changes and enhancements in SAP functionality Maintaining updated knowledge on SAP best-practices, roadmap and technologies to provide informed architectural and design decisions Participating occasionally in system maintenance activities outside of regular working hours Future Projects Partnering with Retail, and e-commerce leaders in Technology to deliver highly cross functional projects Working with internal and external partners to deliver new finance solutions for business Solving complex problems with peers in SAP to meet continuing developing business needs Looking for ways to automate and reduce nonvalue added tasks Partnering with our Logistics, Omnichannel and Sourcing teams to produce results Qualifications You have a relevant university degree, certifications or technical diploma. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered You have a professional accounting designation (CPA is preferred) You have 8+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling Functional experience including configuration (proven track record) You have 6+ years experience in SAP S4 systems implementation and sustainment You have thorough and demonstratable knowledge of General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL), Cost element accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, SAP Digital Payment Add On (DPAO), SAP Customer Cloud Payment (CCP) among others You have strong knowledge of Finance applications used in industry such as Blackline, Kyriba, Ariba You have very strong knowledge of integration between Finance and other functional modules including Sales & Distributions, Materials Management, etc. You have strong knowledge of SAP reporting tools including query, report writer, BI and Fiori apps You have experience and familiarization working with Solution manager and SAP methodology You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team You are adaptable and forward-thinking You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines You have excellent written and verbal communication skills You are able to travel internationally as required You are able to participate in operational activities outside of normal working hours as needed You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement Compensation The salary range for this role is CAD$126,000CAD$165,000 Total Rewards Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arcteryx.
