Job Description

Jobber is seeking a Senior Manager Fintech New Bets to lead rapid fintech projects from concept to revenue generation, working across product, pricing, GTM, risk, and partner teams. The Role As the Senior Manager Fintech New Bets, you will actively develop and deliver the most critical fintech projects that help small businesses grow and prosper. Drive key strategic projects: lead high-priority crossfunctional initiatives that are stalled or missing; for example: Transform loosely defined opportunities into shipped products. Improve the unit economics of existing fintech offerings. Lead complex crossteam initiatives with direct impact on revenue, margin or risk. Scope new businesses: Identify new fintech product lines and opportunities. Work with crossfunctional teams and external partners to build and, where applicable, execute business cases. Evaluate unit economics, risk and scalability to inform go/nogo decisions. Build partnerships: engage and negotiate with external partners to unlock new economics, capabilities or risk structures. Unlock revenue and efficiency: analyze fintech performance to identify margin and revenue opportunities; lead initiatives such as defining the business strategy for Instant Payouts, including pricing, risk tradeoffs, product requirements and GTM approach. Support GTM and product expansion: act as connective tissue between Fintech, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance and GTM teams, accelerating launches and driving adoption. Qualifications Extensive experience in strategy, operations, growth, or related roles (e.g., consulting, finance, payments, or a fastscaling tech company). Proven track record of driving and owning projects endtoend with measurable business outcomes. Strong financial and business acumen, including experience building and pressuretesting unit economics, pricing models, and business cases. Experience negotiating with external partners or vendors where economics, risk or compliance were on the line. High agency and ability to navigate ambiguity without waiting for perfect clarity. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply. Nice to Have Experience with vertical SaaS and/or embedded fintech products. Comfort working with large datasets and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker); ability to write SQL or build selfserve dashboards is a plus. Genuine interest in small businesses, particularly in home and field services. Location The role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver or KitchenerWaterloo. Compensation The minimum annual salary is $121,000, with a midpoint of $142,200 and a maximum of $163,600. Base salary is part of a total compensation package that includes equity rewards, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums.
