We run paid search for B2B software companies PE-backed software rollups, Microsoft Dynamics partners, and other pipeline-driven clients where success is measured in closed revenue, not vanity metrics. What youll do Run a focused portfolio of fewer than 10 B2B software accounts strategy, campaign builds, optimization, reporting, and direct client relationships. Own the client relationship. Youll run weekly calls, handle scope conversations, and be the primary point of contact for your book not hand-holding required from the founder. Own Google Ads and Microsoft Ads as the core channels. Microsoft Ads matters more for B2B software than most agencies treat it the audience, the tenant-buyer overlap, and the CPC efficiency are real. Youll get to use it well. Run LinkedIn Ads when the account warrants it ABM, highintent pipeline plays, retargeting off search. Manage monthly media spend from $5K to $500K+ per account. Write ad copy and creative briefs that beat what the clients inhouse team would produce. Set up and audit tracking tagging, pixels, conversion events, offline conversions, CRM feedback loops. Ship monthly reports that provide real insights, not just a bunch of metrics. Bring your AI workflow. What you do with the Claude subscription is up to you share what works and well roll useful patterns across the team. Work directly with the founder. Small team, high trust, high responsibility. Who were looking for 36 years in paid search. Agency, inhouse, or blended. What matters is handson time in Google Ads and ideally Microsoft Ads. Attention to detail is nonnegotiable. At the account sizes we run, the difference between the people who thrive in agency life and the people who wash out usually comes down to this. If youre the person who catches the small stuff before it becomes a client problem, youll do well here. Fluent in Google Ads Editor or API (or a spreadsheetfirst workflow that gets you to the same place). You need to be able to make large, accurate changes quickly and safely. B2B / pipeline mindset. You think in lead generation, funnel rates, cost per action not CPM and reach. LinkedIn Ads comfort is a plus, not a requirement. If you havent run it and want to learn, well teach you. AIcurious. You dont need to be an expert. You need to be the person whod actually use the Claude subscription on day one. Comfortable with clients.
