Job Title: Risk Management Specialists (2 Positions) Civil Infrastructure / Capital ProjectsWe are currently seeking two experienced Risk Management Specialists to support large-scale capital and infrastructure projects within a PMO environment. One role will support the Project Delivery team, and the other will support Major Projects.Note* This is a project risk-focused role (not Enterprise Risk Management)Location: North York, ON (Hybrid primarily onsite with some remote flexibility)Duration: 12-month contract with potential extensionsKey ResponsibilitiesFacilitate project risk workshops and meetings to identify, assess, and prioritize risksDevelop, maintain, and update project risk registersSupport project teams in implementing and maintaining risk management practicesPerform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulationsAnalyze cost and schedule uncertainties to support risk-informed decision-makingDevelop risk profiles and compare against project contingencies (cost, schedule, etc.)Provide regular reporting, including quarterly risk reports to project stakeholdersContribute to the development of risk management procedures and work instructionsDeliverablesUpdated and maintained risk registersQuantitative and qualitative risk analysis reportsQuarterly risk reports and dashboardsAd hoc reporting as requiredQualifications and Experience35 years of experience in project risk management, preferably within civil infrastructure or construction environmentsExperience reviewing technical documents such as drawings, schedules, and cost estimates to identify project risksProven experience facilitating risk workshops with cross-functional teamsHands-on experience with cost and schedule risk analysisFamiliarity with tools such as Monte Carlo, Oracle PRA, or @RiskSolid understanding of engineering and construction methodologiesStrong communication skills and ability to work in a deadline-driven environmentEducationPost-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) or a related disciplineExperience in project planning, scheduling, or project managementAssetsRelevant certifications from organizations such as Project Management Institute (PMI) or AACE International (AACE)Additional InformationThis is a project risk-focused role (not Enterprise Risk Management)Opportunity to work on complex, high-value capital projectsLong-term engagement with strong potential for extensionThank you for your interest in our position.
