OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION ShelterLogic Group is the global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of shade, shelter, storage, and outdoor lifestyle products. The hours for this position will be MondayFriday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Forklift experience and the knowledge to operate different forklifts. Sit down counterbalance required. Reach and clamp a plus. Collaborate with Warehouse Associates and assist the Manager with training. Accomplishes all department requirements in conjunction with company policies and procedures. Reports verbally and in writing to immediate supervisor all actions that fail to comply with companys policies and procedures. Perform all required tasks needed to comply with the companys safety standards. Packing, picking, staging, and verifying the accuracy of the items and paperwork as required for shipments. Experience with transportation procedures and ability to handle bills of lading. Making and sealing boxes for packing orders. Using basic hand tools scissors, tape measure, tape machine, pushcart, and pallet jack. Maintain inventory control and order processing manually and/or by a handheld R.F. computer device. Perform quality inspection of all items picked. Assist in loading and unloading materials, including customer pickups. Knowledge of cycle counting procedure and participate in all necessary inventory taking. Processing daily orders using our computer system (UPS, FEDEX, Purolator, Loomis, LTL, CPU, and Receiving). Knowledge and ability to replenish inventory throughout our warehouses. POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, SKILLS, BACKGROUND, & EXPERIENCE Read, write, and speak English fluently. Minimum High School diploma. Forklift certification. Maintain excellent attendance and dependability Good communication and computer skills. Problemsolving and multitasking skills. Strong interpersonal skills, working with a diversified group of team associates. Excellent documentation skills. Knowledge of use of handheld inventory control devices (R.F. scanners experience a plus). Ability to comprehend, understand, and comply with our SOP (Standard operating procedures) for quality. Physical ability to work long hours as needed with repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work overtime as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
