Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines that employ over 5,000 people in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. Start Date: September 2026 Duration: 8 or 12 months In this role, you will: Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Support innovative campus attraction programs both virtually and oncampus Assist with our nationwide Campus Recruitment Program, both virtually and oncampus at postsecondary institutions across Canada (travel may be required) Support EVRs studentemployee engagement and retention strategy involving events/activities and lead studentfocused programs Build relationships and communicate effectively with external organizations and internal business partners Participate in the fullcycle recruitment process, including interviewing students for coop and summer student positions Manage the onboarding process in SAP Post job opportunities on the company website and school job boards to attract qualified applicants Manage the Student Committee and coordinate studentfocused events, including planning, hosting, and execution Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to improve the way we do business Requirements: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Human Resources A valid Class5 Drivers License or equivalent, without learners restrictions is preferred Motivated selfstarter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) Experience with HR programs/software would be an asset Benefits: Receive financial assistance for travel expenses and coop fees Acquire handson experience applying academic knowledge to realworld mining operations, fostering the development of technical skills Benefit from mentorship and guidance offered by seasoned specialists in their respective fields Gain a competitive edge, securing primary consideration for professional positions upon graduation Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior coop experiences completed Application Deadline: May31,2026 Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the preemployment requirements of a preemployment drug screen and references. #J-18808-Ljbffr
