Job Description

Maintenance Support Coordinator Are you looking for a handson role that keeps critical facilities running smoothly? Do you enjoy coordinating people, equipment, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime? Can you see yourself supporting work that protects the environment and public health? Responsibilities Supervising contractors and inhouse maintenance staff to support the completion and closeout of maintenance work orders. Supporting the development of maintenance procedures, work plans, and Integrated Work Control (IWC) packages. Coordinating maintenance activities with Operations staff to minimize operational downtime. Supporting engineering activities related to equipment installations and modifications, including redlining drawings and participating in walkdowns. Providing onsite leadership during planned maintenance outages at the Port Hope and Port Granby Wastewater Treatment Facilities. Coordinating outage activities with Operations to ensure proper plant configuration. Assisting with detailed maintenance planning and scheduling related to outages. Completing weekly KPI reports, reviewing closed work orders, and auditing open work orders to prevent delays. Applying proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Participating in regular maintenance meetings and providing progress updates on ongoing work. Other duties as assigned by your manager. Qualifications Education Graduation from an Institute of Technology or equivalent, or Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship with a Certified Electrician, Millwright, or Plumber licence, plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant journeyman experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience in industrial maintenance or construction, including supervisory experience, or Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Wastewater Operations or Wastewater Maintenance. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and Programmable Logic Centre (PLC). Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing principles. Strong troubleshooting skills and a high standard of workmanship. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with maintenance management software and business tools such as email, MS Word, and MS Excel. Willingness to learn and comply with all company safety regulations, procedures, and training requirements. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while supervising internal and external resources. Security Clearance Eligibility Required Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 35 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, NewZealand, the UnitedStates and/or the UnitedKingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariats Standard on Security Screening and the Policy on Government Security. Working Conditions Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirtyseven and a half (37.5) hour work week. Fieldbased work requiring moderate to high physical effort at times and exposure to various weather conditions. Regular use of personal protective equipment and dosimetry while onsite.
