With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and long-term value, the company is seeking a Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and lead the commercial strategy across key verticals. Position Overview The Director of Sales is the senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing a scalable, metrics-driven sales strategy . This role oversees the full sales lifecycle, including pipeline development, customer acquisition, account growth, and partnership strategy . This individual will lead the sales organization while working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and execution. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across key industries including industrial, oil & gas, utilities, data centers, and distributed energy Define market expansion strategies and growth initiatives Build and lead a high-performing sales team capable of managing complex technical sales cycles Partner with executive leadership on revenue targets, pricing strategies, and forecasting Revenue & Pipeline Management Own revenue targets and drive consistent growth Manage pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline Establish pricing strategies, negotiation frameworks, and commercial policies Monitor market trends and competitive activity to optimize win rates Customer & Market Development Identify and close large-scale opportunities with EPCs, integrators, distributors, and end users Expand and retain key customer relationships across domestic and global markets Develop channel partnerships and territory strategies to support growth Technical Sales Leadership Review technical specifications, RFPs, and customer requirements to ensure accurate project scoping Ensure sales team proficiency in product knowledge, application engineering, and competitive positioning Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver accurate proposals and customized solutions Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, project management, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams to support innovation and product development Partner with marketing to develop messaging, campaigns, and industry presence Team Leadership & Development Recruit, develop, and mentor sales and business development teams Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement Implement training programs to enhance sales capabilities and product knowledge Operational Excellence & Reporting Maintain accurate CRM data and standardized reporting processes Prepare executive-level reports on revenue performance, pipeline health, and market insights Establish and track KPIs including bookings, margins, cycle time, and customer satisfaction Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership 5+ years of experience leading sales teams Proven track record of selling capital equipment or engineered systems Experience managing large, complex sales cycles and multi-million-dollar pipelines Strong understanding of industrial, energy, or power generation markets Preferred Qualifications Experience in power generation, turbines, gensets, or distributed energy solutions Experience working with EPC firms, industrial clients, and infrastructure projects MBA or advanced degree Professional sales or technical certifications Core Competencies Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building ability High emotional intelligence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strategic thinking with strong business and financial acumen Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Technical Skills Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical/mechanical systems, and controls Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) Ability to perform financial analysis including ROI, TCO, and value modeling Work Environment Dynamic, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment High level of cross-functional collaboration Travel required (domestic and international) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package Leadership growth opportunities within a scaling organization MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
