Position Summary Under general supervision of the Venue IT Manager, the Venue Information Technology Coordinator is responsible for the assistance of installations and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for the TD Coliseum & Concert Hall technology functions on an as-needed basis as well as providing support to event-specific IT needs. The role also includes collaborating with the IT Manager and venue leadership to establish venue strategy for technology systems that support the fan experience. Availability during non-standard working hours, including weekends and holidays, is required. This role pays an hourly rate of $31.00$32.00. Benefits For part-time roles: pension matching. Responsibilities Coordinate and assist the team responsible for the installation and maintenance of onsite hardware and software, including workstations, mobile devices, multimedia displays, and video conference system support. Assist in managing the systems and technologies that support the venue and business (device management, identity, access control, etc.). Provide technical leadership and support for all onsite staff and contractors. Understand and support the event operations network, WiFi, events, operations, box office, and stadium communications needs. Support longterm planning for technology systems throughout their lifecycle. Diagnose and repair hardware issues, contacting appropriate service vendors when necessary. Maintain efficient equipment storage and inventory for all technical assets. Report any system failures to venue leadership promptly. Document processes and procedures and label equipment as needed. Maintain an equipment preventative maintenance program. Assist in organizing and scheduling upgrades/maintenance in collaboration with venue, event, and operations schedules. Support a wide range of physical cabling and wireless infrastructure (fiber/copper/AV/broadcast/wireless). Manage printer infrastructure and operations of venue print and copy needs. Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients. Improve programming and maintenance of the technical infrastructure over time. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an IT or desktop support role, preferably in the events and sports/entertainment industry. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Office suite. Proficiency with macOS and Windows operating systems, hardware, and peripherals. Proficiency with clientserver infrastructure and onsite support. Proficiency with technology operations around cloudbased services for various business and venue systems. Experience with multifunction imaging devices, copiers, and printers. Basic knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting iOS and Androidbased mobile devices. Basic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting (CCNA or equivalent is a strong plus). Experience supporting network equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls. Working knowledge of telephone and VoIP systems. Ability to communicate with employees, coworkers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Must be detailoriented and possess excellent followthrough skills. Excellent documentation and process skills. Possess knowledge and experience in industry terminology, eventrelated services, facility capabilities, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility. Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative. Can perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy objects. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
