Senior Project Planner / Scheduler Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI) Step into a senior role that shapes the safe, efficient, and strategic delivery of Canadas most complex infrastructure and cleanenergy programs. Your Impact Lead integrated project planning and scheduling by developing, maintaining, and optimizing master schedules for Substation, Transmission, and Distribution projects across engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Partner closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep schedules accurate, achievable, and aligned with scope, safety, and regulatory requirements. Use Primavera P6, timechainage tools, and MS Project to track milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and resource demands, driving schedule certainty and transparency. Support resource planning, allocation, and optimization across multiple concurrent projects and programs to strengthen portfoliolevel performance. Identify and model schedule risk related to licensing, outage windows, regulatory reviews, and scope changes, developing robust whatif scenarios. Integrate owner and contractor schedules to establish clear baselines, aligned WBS, and a single source of truth for project execution and reporting. Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, recommend mitigation strategies, and address schedule, resource, and budget challenges early. Produce dashboards, KPIs, reports, and presentations that support client meetings, audits, project reviews, and continuous improvement of planning processes. Present, explain, and defend schedule, cost, and risk analysis findings to clients, supporting informed decisionmaking during meetings, reviews, and audits. The Skills That Set You Apart Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, with strong command of planning, scheduling, risk, and change management principles. 15+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling for power generation, transmission and distribution, mining, or other heavy industrial infrastructure projects. Deep knowledge of project controls methodologies, including EVM, critical path analysis, cost and resource forecasting, QSRA, QCRA, and Monte Carlo analysis. Proven ability to manage complex, integrated schedules across multidisciplinary teams and multiple work fronts. Strong analytical skills to identify risks, assess impacts, and translate data into actionable insights. High commercial awareness, sound judgment, and a collaborative, solutionsfocused mindset. Excellent clientfacing, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet security clearance requirements, as applicable.
