Casual/Flexible Availability | Work from Home *SharePoint, Power Platform & Internal Systems* *Must be available during weekdays and regular business hours* GEC Ltd. is seeking a skilled and selfdirected Microsoft 365 Solutions Specialist to support the administration, optimization, and ongoing development of our internal systems and digital infrastructure. In this casual, workfromhome role, you will serve as our goto resource for SharePoint, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 helping our team work smarter through streamlined workflows, reliable systems, and practical user support. You''ll work closely with staff across the organization to understand our evolving operational needs and translate them into sustainable technology solutions that support program delivery, compliance, and daytoday efficiency. Job Responsibilities Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure staff are confident and effective in using Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Power Apps. Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, groups, and permissions for current and new users. Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency across operations. Collaborate with internal teams and staff to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend practical solutions that support service delivery. Maintain technical documentation, standards, and troubleshooting guides for consistent and sustainable use of company platforms. Follow established standards for site architecture, permissions, and lifecycle management. Audit sites, groups, and workflows to reduce clutter and improve performance. Monitor usage, storage, and licensing to optimize resources. Ensure data and systems are secure, organized, and used responsibly. Support records retention, data protection, and compliance requirements, including those related to referral partners and external stakeholders'' contracts/assessments. Monitor Microsoft 365 updates that may impact functionality, security, or compliance. Stay current with new Microsoft 365 tools and identify opportunities (including AI) to improve collaboration, productivity, and efficiency. Support systems and workflows that enable program delivery and internal operations. Prioritize and manage incoming requests and system improvements. Support onboarding/offboarding processes (permissions, access, etc.). Act as a point of contact between operations, users, and technology. Requirements 5+ years of experience with advanced knowledge in SharePoint Administration, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Microsoft Teams, and related technologies. Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 applications beyond SharePoint, including core Microsoft 365 services with responsibility for configuration, access management, and operational support. Microsoft certifications (such as MS: 365 Administrator, Security Operations Analyst, Information Protection Administrator, Power Platform, etc.) College diploma or University degree in information technology, computer science or related field (preferred) Ability to work in a dynamic, serviceoriented environment with evolving processes and priorities. Commitment to understanding the current processes and needs of the company. Timely support and flexibility in responding to unexpected system issues or disruptions to minimize impact on operations. Experience with governance, standards, or lifecycle management in Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Groups and conditional access principles. Strong analytical, problemsolving, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to translate business needs into sustainable technology solution. Experience supporting nontechnical users in a serviceoriented environment. Strong communication skills across technical and nontechnical audiences. Languages English fluency is mandatory. Other language fluency is considered an asset. Wages $28 - $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
