Job Description

Manager of Engineering is responsible for leading all Engineering and Maintenance activities at the plant to ensure safety, environmental, quality, cost, and productivity targets are consistently met. This role drives a strong reliability culture by implementing predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment and operational performance. The position develops and mentors engineering and maintenance teams, oversees succession planning, and ensures compliance with all EHS, quality, corporate, and legal requirements. Additionally, the Manager of Engineering manages capital investment programs and budgets to support current operations and future business needs. Manages capital investments and budgets to enable longterm business success, ensuring plant assets, infrastructure, and technology are aligned with current and future operational needs. What You Will Do Lead plant reliability and asset performance by developing and executing the site reliability strategy, including predictive maintenance tools, root cause analysis, and equipment design improvements. Direct all Engineering and Maintenance activities to ensure facilities, utilities, and production equipment support efficient, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations. Build and sustain a highperforming organization through recruiting, coaching, training, succession planning, and effective labor relations within the Engineering and Maintenance teams. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, maintaining facility systems and managing utility usage to meet business and sustainability objectives. Deliver capital projects and operational results by managing the plant capital investment plan, integrating technical activities, and leveraging new technologies to improve efficiency and performance. Manage engineering budgets and support daily operations, controlling engineering expense and labor costs while partnering with plant leadership to achieve safety, quality, cost, and production goals. What Were Looking For Bachelor''s degree in engineering with 10 or more years of experience in engineering project management and problemsolving in a manufacturing environment (preferably Maintenance) 5 or more years of experience managing salary/ hourly associates Experience with scope development, economic analysis, production evaluation, etc. related to manufacturing facility planning Ability to lead/manage multifunctional, diverse teams Communication, project management and continuous improvement skills Longrange planning/integration with shortterm actions Ability to relate with customers Ability to determine important versus urgent Finance knowledge, including use of capital/budget planning, cash flow analysis and engineering economics calculations Understanding of codes, standards and safety for machinery design Goodyear offers a competitive pay and comprehensive total rewards package designed with your physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing in mind. The pay range for this position is $121,137.00 - $224,965.00. However, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as jobrelated knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
