Job Description

Medical Science Liaison (MSL), National Pipeline Hematology Field-based, hybrid flexibility, national scope. Reports to Senior MSL Manager. Job Purpose This role involves building trusted peertopeer scientific relationships with hematology specialists and other healthcare professionals, sharing balanced, evidencebased information, and collecting clinical insights that shape the pipeline medical strategy and research. You will serve as a fieldbased scientific expert supporting clinical development and collaborating closely with medical, clinical, commercial, and research colleagues to deliver local impact. Responsibilities Build and maintain peertopeer scientific relationships with hematology specialists and other healthcare professionals; communicate balanced, evidencebased information to support clinical decision making. Act as the fieldbased scientific expert for your territory, staying current on hematology treatment approaches and the evolving scientific landscape. Gather and report clinical and practice insights from the field to inform pipeline medical strategy, evidence generation, and local operational plans. Support clinical development by identifying and qualifying potential investigators and clinical trial sites across Canada. Represent GSK at scientific meetings and congresses, supporting expert engagement, session coverage, and knowledge sharing. Deliver scientific training to internal colleagues using approved materials and contribute to crossfunctional projects as required. Travel within the territory (up to 6070% of time) and drive routinely on company business; where eligible, may be provided with a companyleased vehicle subject to safetydriver program requirements. Basic Qualifications Advanced postgraduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD). Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate crossfunctionally. Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, including hospital systems and access pathways. Valid Canadian drivers licence and ability to travel within the territory. Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet objectives in a fieldbased role. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, ideally in Hematology. Established network and relationships with oncology clinicians in Canada. Experience supporting clinical trials, investigatorinitiated studies, or realworld evidence projects. Familiarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processes. Bilingual capability in English and French for bilingual territories. Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Compensation Annual compensation: CAD129,000 to CAD179,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
