From white-sand beaches to luxury resorts, we work alongside top-tier planners and visionary clients to bring dream weddings to life. Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and organized Destination Wedding Planner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with couples to design and coordinate their dream weddings in stunning locations in Mexico and the Caribbean. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the planning process, from vendor selection to execution, as well as overseeing and supporting team members to ensure flawless delivery. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with couples to understand their vision and preferences for their destination wedding. Research and recommend suitable venues and locations based on the couples style and budget. Coordinate with destination vendors, including catering, floral, photography, and entertainment. Create detailed timelines and checklists to ensure smooth execution of events. Manage logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and guest communication. Maintain a budget and track expenses to ensure the wedding stays within financial limits. Provide on-site coordination during the wedding week to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to offer innovative ideas and solutions. Oversee, delegate, and support tasks across the planning team. Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to ensure deadlines are met and events exceed expectations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a wedding planner, preferably with a focus on destination weddings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to travel frequently (10-15 days per month). Ability to work irregular hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Proficiency in event planning software and tools. A passion for creating memorable experiences and a strong customer service orientation. Legally eligible to travel to Mexico, The Dominican Republic and Jamaica . Must be a Canadian citizen.
