Bakeshop is a performance marketing agency that helps DTC Shopify brands scale profitably. We run Meta and Google Ads, develop highperforming creative, and build the strategies that turn ecommerce businesses into category leaders. About the role Growth Managers are the strategists in the numbers. Youll own client performance outcomes, translating data into strategy, and ensuring every account has a clear path to profitable growth. This role is equal parts analyst, strategist, and operator. Youll audit accounts, run tests, forecast budgets, and identify opportunities across ads, landing pages, and offers. Success in this role isnt just about executing strategies, its about developing strong relationships, making clients feel confident in our approach, and keeping them aligned with our shared goals. If you want to work across multiple fastgrowing DTC brands, and youre sharp with data but creative enough to see opportunities others miss, this role is for you. Its necessary to have a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices for DTC Shopify brands, handson experience in Ad Accounts, and a track record of success optimizing for CPA, AOV, CVR, and LTV. Responsibilities Act as a primary point of contact, fostering close cooperation with clients and maintaining regular communication. Lead internal and clientfacing meetings with confidence, impeccable organizational skills and followup. Create strategic account plans aligned with client objectives. Develop and execute scaling strategies through paid social and paid search. Generate and present detailed reports on ad performance, offering insights into ongoing and future testing strategies. Own the strategy: set quarterly goals, align budgets, and craft growth plans tailored to each brand. Direct a team of marketers to achieve client deliverables, fostering collaboration within the agency to ensure client campaign success. Work with the brands and creative teams to develop briefs for paid social ads. Conduct regular customer journey audits to identify issues or opportunities across accounts, ads, email, landing pages, or offers. Know the clients business better than they do (shop performance, active campaigns, user journeys). Monitor and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google, and other platformstreating every ad dollar like your own. Launch, test, and iterate on new ad creative, staying agile in response to performance trends. Track key metrics (CPA, ROAS, AOV, CVR, LTV) and adjust strategy as needed. Keep the team and agency informed on cuttingedge strategies, new advertising platforms, conversion rate optimization methods, industry trends, client challenges, and competitive landscape analysis. What Youll Do Own account profitability: pacing plans, CM3 (profit after marketing), and key KPIs. Proactively audit Meta & Google accounts, surfacing opportunities and risks. Build and update growth strategies: incrementality, attribution, offer testing, funnel improvements. Partner with creative strategists to translate insights into ad concepts. Track and analyze ROAS, CAC, AOV, LTV, CVR and tie them back to business impact. Forecast scenarios and build models to guide scaling decisions. Deliver weekly insights and monthly strategy reviews with clear, actionable next steps. Stay ahead of platform shifts (Meta, Google) and ensure strategies adapt fast. What Success Looks Like Clients see you as the expert on their numbers. Every account has at least one live test at all times. Risks are flagged with solutions before they become client problems. Growth plans tie creative, spend, and funnel into one clear strategy. Sales, spend and profit targets are hit consistently. What You Bring 35+ years managing DTC ad accounts (Meta & Google). Strong analytical skills you can spot trends, build models using data, and explain them simply. Understanding of attribution, incrementality, and how offers, funnels, and landing pages drive performance. Ability to brief creative that ties back to datadriven insights. Comfort in clientfacing moments, but happiest in the numbers. Bonus: Experience with GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or financial modeling. Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 CAD, depending on experience.
