This position reports to the Senior Manager - Trackworks.What You Will Be Doing?Daily site visits. Role is at least 75% Field, 25% Office.Signing of daily reports from subcontractors if requiredCollect field tickets from foremen each dayBe available to Super and PM (including weekends and overtime) when work is being carried out on a section under their responsibility. If unavailable, this needs to be communicated before work starts.Ensure that 3WLA is being followed and flag issues when they arise.Have a complete understanding of Mobilinx scope of work and scheduleHave a complete understanding of design and shop drawings prior to work startingHave a complete understanding of project specifications and tolerancesHave a complete understanding of section work plans and identify any changes that need to be made as required.Have a complete understanding of ITPs and ensure work is being performed in accordance.Raise RFIs to Office Coordinator for official submission to design teamCoordination/Progress ReportingTake and upload Daily photos to project management portalReport progress daily in the appropriate UoM (TBD with PM, APM and OE). Communicate to manager if any deviations and impacts (manpower, production, delays) daily.Schedule subcontractors required for testing including but not limited to:Pull out testsTrack to earth testingRebar InspectionArrange traffic control measures for daily workTrack work progress and issue weekly dashboards showing the progress of the workQualityQuality InspectionsDAILY rebar inspections based on shop drawings. Thorough inspection to be completed before POR visit.DAILY quality checks during installation of DF components (rail pads, clips, shims, plates, etc.) to ensure track structure is correct.DAILY update of weld map when required.Identify the location of bonded joints and sequence of thermite welds for STWInspection of both Bonded Joints and Thermite Welds to ensure that they are compliant with project specification.Monitoring of clipping temperature and de-stress temperatureComplete site visit with POR and get hold point releaseManage documentation for CPs in ProcoreEnsure that all equipment on site is calibratedInspect all permanent material upon receiving it on site and ensure that MRRs are completed correctly.
