Overview We Are Hiring - Legal Administrative Assistant Our client, a progressive and growing law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy and collaborative practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being a key support to lawyers and clients, and takes pride in administrative excellence. This position offers strong onboarding and ongoing support, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both day-to-day legal work and broader team initiatives. Position: Legal Administrative Assistant Practice Areas Supported: Indigenous Law / Corporate Support Work Model: In-office (full-time) What You Will Do Provide administrative and legal support to lawyers across a specialized practice group Revise and format documents based on lawyer markups, ensuring accuracy and consistency Prepare PowerPoint presentations and client-facing materials for meetings Assist with client intake, correspondence, and sensitive communications Track outstanding deliverables, deadlines, and client signatures Coordinate scheduling, meetings, couriers, and client-related arrangements Support budgeting and reporting for client matters Maintain organized files and assist with document assembly, scanning, and photocopying as needed Participate in team meetings and assist with follow-up action items Help improve internal processes, workflows, and administrative systems Support marketing and knowledge initiatives such as blogs, webinars, and presentations Assist with sourcing and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency What We're Looking For Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program from an accredited institution 2+ years of experience in a Legal Administrative Assistant role Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Confident written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay one step ahead A collaborative, service-oriented mindset Comfort working with legal technology and a willingness to learn new systems Experience supporting Indigenous clients/matters and/or corporate practices is considered a strong asset What's Offered Competitive base salary in the range of $62,000 - $78,000, depending on experience Competitive bonus program 100% employer-paid benefits Additional firm perks and professional development support A collegial, respectful culture that values balance, teamwork, and growth If you're a legal administrative professional looking to join a firm that values both excellence and culture, we welcome a confidential conversation to discuss fit and next steps.
