InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm specializing in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.Our client is a technology leader in electrification and automation is looking for an HSE Coordinator to join their manufacturing plant.Responsibilities:Perform routine weekly or bi-weekly site inspections to detect potential hazards and unsafe practicesOversee incident response processes, including investigations, root cause analysis, and reportingKeep detailed and up-to-date HSE records covering inspections, incidents, and employee trainingOrganize and deliver safety training sessions and onboarding for new employeesAssist with activity-based risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measuresMonitor and ensure contractor adherence to HSE standards and site-specific requirementsOffer technical support and guidance to the Joint Health & Safety CommitteeCollect and compile environmental data for quarterly and annual reportsAct as the main liaison during regulatory inspections and visits from authoritiesQualifications:Valid HSE certification or an equivalent qualificationAt least 3 years of experience in HSE coordination or site safety rolesSolid understanding of health and safety legislation in Ontario and across CanadaSkilled in maintaining HSE documentation, conducting incident investigations, and performing auditsProven ability to manage contractor safety and ensure compliance with regulationsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalCapable of working independently with minimal supervisionEmployment Rewards:Competitive hourly payOpportunity to gain experienceDay ShiftApplication Process:All Qualified candidates will be contacted.InVision is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind:It is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
