With a strong pipeline of projects including 300+ residential rental units, the organization is focused on delivering high-quality, livable communities in emerging neighbourhoods.Your New Role As a Residential and Commercial Property Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of a mixed residential and commercial portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant, safe, and operating efficiently. This includes conducting regular site inspections, identifying maintenance needs, supporting preventative maintenance programs, responding to building and tenant issues, and coordinating contractors for repairs, upgrades, and capital projects. A strong focus on tenant and resident experience is central to this position. You will build positive relationships through proactive communication and responsive service, support lease and tenancy administration, assist with tenant retention initiatives, and ensure operations remain aligned with applicable residential tenancy requirements.You will also support annual budgeting, expense tracking, variance reporting, tenant billings and recoveries with internal teams. In addition, you will lead and mentor site staff, providing guidance and accountability while maintaining a professional approach in complex situations.What Sets You Apart The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of property management experience and is a confident and composed people leader with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage performance. Your communication skills are strong and you are comfortable working with tenants, contractors, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.You bring strong decision-making abilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are professional, calm under pressure, and willing to be hands-on when needed to keep operations running smoothly. Proficiency with reporting tools and property management software is important, with experience using Yardi and Rent Caf considered an asset.
