We take pride in our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction We are seeking an accomplished Vice President, Supply Chain to join our executive leadership team and lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and performance across a complex, multi-location distribution and service business. The Role Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice President, Supply Chain provides enterprise-wide leadership across procurement (direct & indirect), inventory management, logistics and distribution operations, product/category management, and supplier relationship management. This role is accountable for balancing service levels, cost, working capital, and supply chain risk while enabling scalable growth, operational excellence, and strong supplier partnerships. The role is ideally based in Dartmouth, NS , however candidates based in other major Parts for Trucks business centressuch as Calgary or Edmontonwill also be considered , with regular travel required to the Head Office, branches, distribution centres, and key suppliers. Key Accountabilities Develop and execute the enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with growth, margin, service, and working capital objectives Lead integrated demand, supply, and inventory planning Own supply chain KPIs (service levels, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, supplier performance, freight cost) Provide executive leadership over procurement, sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and governance Oversee inventory productivity, inbound logistics, transportation, and DC operations Lead product/category management, assortment optimization, and lifecycle management Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships through formal SRM programs Champion ERP utilization, analytics, and data-driven decision-making Identify and mitigate supply chain risk; develop contingency and business continuity plans Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing supply chain organization Promote a strong safety culture across logistics and distribution operations What Were Looking For Senior executive or VP-level experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, and/or category management Experience in industrial distribution, heavy-duty aftermarket, logistics, or similarly complex, inventory-intensive environments Deep expertise in sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory management, and logistics Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams and drive enterprise-wide change Strong financial acumen, including management of inventory investment, freight spend, and margin impact Experience leveraging ERP systems and analytics to support decision-making Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership capability Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset Why Join Parts for Trucks Executive-level compensation and comprehensive benefits Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program Employee discounts and practical on-site benefits (including free parking at applicable locations) Opportunity to make a significant enterprise-wide impact within a well-established, growing organization Parts for Trucks is an equal opportunity employer.
