What You Will Do Oversee all aspects of the Local Housing Corporation portfolio, including rent-geared-to-income (RGI) administration, waitlist policies, tenant concerns, lease agreements and notices in compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. Oversee all aspects of the Non-Profit Housing portfolio, including budget benchmarking, reporting, reconciliation, audits, and operational reviews to ensure compliance with legislative and funding requirements. Oversee the full range of housing and homelessness programs, including affordable, transitional, and homelessness-prevention programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and service standards. Lead program planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with legislation, service standards and organizational priorities. Lead the ongoing implementation and monitoring of the 10-Year Housing & Homelessness Plan and related strategies. Facilitate and negotiate partnerships with local business, developers, senior levels of government and local agencies to provide affordable housing projects. Provide guidance and leadership to internal and external stakeholders including the Local Housing Corporation, Non-Profit Housing Providers and others on the interpretation and application of legislation, regulations and policy. Manage budgets, funding proposals and service agreements with housing partners and community partners. Collaborate with internal departments on building maintenance, capital planning and compliance. Respond and address escalated service issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Oversee the compliance with contractual obligations, performance targets and reporting requirements. Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of program data to ensure accurate reporting for funders, stakeholders, and community partners, while using evidencebased insights to identify gaps and drive innovation. Lead and manage staff, including supervision, development, and performance management. What You Will Bring A degree or diploma in business, social service, humanities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the human services field, in a unionized environment. Strong change management and team building skills, with a demonstrated ability to empower and motivate staff. Comprehensive knowledge of related legislation, process, procedures and administration relating to Social Services and ability to apply related legislation, and develop and implement policy/procedures. Excellent analytical, problem solving and research skills, to develop innovative responses and recommendations to program and administrative challenges. Strong planning and organizational skills, with a sound decision making ability. Excellent public relations, interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment. Possess a valid drivers license with access to a personal vehicle. Join Us & Make a Difference Apply now!
