Responsibilities Design and conduct research in quantum technologies, quantum materials or quantum sensing. Publish research results, secure external funding, and develop a national and international research agenda. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physics; develop teaching materials and assessments. Mentor students, trainees and research personnel. Provide service to the department, university, and the wider research community. Create and maintain a diverse and inclusive research team, collaborating with academic, public, private, and nonprofit partners. Prepare the CRC Tier2 nomination package within six months of nomination. Qualifications PhD in Physics or a closely related field. Outstanding record of research that demonstrates creativity and potential for international recognition within the next five to ten years. Proven evidence of teaching excellence and a commitment to highquality education. Strong record of service, mentorship and teamwork. Eligibility for a Tier2 CRC (no more than 10 years from first independent appointment, except where interruptions apply).
