Job Description The Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences seeks a Psychologist to provide psychological services in the Outpatient Services Program, with particular expertise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The Psychologist will primarily be assigned to the Borderline Personality SelfRegulation Clinic, the Anxiety and Mood Disorders Clinic, and Complex General Psychiatry, however clinic location and service delivery may vary over time based on operational needs and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The psychologist will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to support evidencebased clinical practice (e.g., assessment and intervention) to individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as mood and anxietyrelated concerns. The psychologist will act as a clinical consultant providing training, individual, and group consultation services to clinicians from a variety of regulated colleges. The psychologist will work closely with our Borderline Personality SelfRegulation Clinic, providing clinical leadership in the areas of DBT program development, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, the psychologist contributes quality improvement and research initiatives aligned with organizational priorities across Outpatient Services. Requirements Doctoral level Psychology degree with at least 3 years clinical and/or research experience in the field of severe and persistent mental illness. Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (eligible candidates may be interviewed). Experience providing, teaching and supervising evidencebased therapies (DBT required; CPT, IPT and CBT are assets). Expertise in developing assessment protocols to clarify diagnosis and contribute to evidencebased clinical management of patients. Demonstrated leadership skills to work with an interprofessional team. Interest and aptitude for academic activities, including teaching and supervising graduate students and conducting independent research relevant to the Outpatient Program. Experience with program evaluation is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
