The Role As a Content Manager at Pedestrian, you will manage the day-to-day digital presence and execution for a diverse portfolio of brands across Canada. Your core responsibilities will include: Act as the brand voice: Master and adapt to the distinct tone of voice for various clients, ensuring consistent, authentic and engaging communication across all digital touchpoints. Monitor and leverage digital trends: Continuously track cultural shifts and platform-specific trends (across TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn) to proactively identify opportunities for our clients to participate in relevant online conversations. Drive community engagement: Actively moderate and engage with social communities. Foster brand advocacy by responding to comments, managing direct messages, and initiating meaningful, brand-safe interactions with followers. Manage content calendars: Take full ownership of monthly editorial schedules. Coordinate, organize, and seamlessly execute the publishing of all organic content using industry-standard social management tools (ex. Buffer, Later). Produce organic content: Shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality, platform-native photo and shortform video content (including TikToks and Reels) that aligns with the overarching brand strategy. Manage creator campaigns: Coordinate a team of content creators, overseeing creative deliverables, timelines, and dedicated project budgets for various campaigns. Analyze and report on performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and synthesize data into comprehensive analytics reports. Provide actionable, strategic recommendations to optimize future content and organic campaigns. Facilitate client communications: Serve as a trusted point of contact. Lead status meetings, present monthly content calendars, and confidently pitch proactive, conversationworthy social concepts to clients. Contribute to strategic planning: Collaborate with the wider Pedestrian team, to develop overarching social platform strategies and support the execution of larger, multichannel marketing, PR and media campaigns. Youll be a great fit if You have a deeprooted passion for the digital space, backed by 3 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications. You have an intuitive understanding of platform nuances. You know exactly why users flock to TikTok versus LinkedIn, and you can shoot and edit native video content that thrives on each. You have a keen eye for detail with strong written communication skills with the ability to edit spelling and grammar. Knowledge or experience with CP style is considered an asset. You have the ability to adopt and elevate a brand''s unique voice across digital and traditional channels. You have a sharp visual aesthetic and with basic design skills to whip up clean, effective socialfirst graphics. You have fluency in the modern marketing tools and tech: Google Suite, Canva, Adobe, Slack, Asana, and standard scheduling tools. Youre creative and agile. You can juggle multiple clients, projects, and deadlines with confidence and pivot seamlessly when the algorithm throws a curveball. You are a digital consumer yourself! You follow fascinating creators, brands, and voices, using those insights to fuel strategic innovation. Bonus points: A background or handson experience in PR and influencer marketing.
