Operational Procurement Student (12-month Contract) Onsite | Full time | Student (not yet graduated) Overview This position is primarily focused on procurement, with strong alignment to logistics operations. The student will support key initiatives related to procurement structure and process improvement, including updating the procurement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with change management best practices. The role will also contribute to process optimization efforts, such as analyzing opportunities to reduce purchase order volume and improve overall efficiency. Your Tasks Support the update and standardization of procurement processes (SOP). Provide backoffice procurement support, including maintaining and updating supplier data as required. Update SAP and other procurement systems with delivery dates, confirmations, and changes to ensure accurate MRP data. Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure ontime delivery and address delays, shortages, or discrepancies. Maintain effective communication with suppliers to support and improve ontime delivery (OTD). Requirements Currently enrolled in a Logistics, Supply Chain or Customs, postsecondary program. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SAP experience is considered an asset. Strong problemsolving skills with a proactive mindset. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
