Job Description We are seeking a Junior Quality Engineering Specialist to join our Quality organization, primarily supporting our A&N divisions acoustics capabilities. In this role you will work within multidisciplinary teams on applied quality engineering problems, contributing to process compliance, product verification, audits, and corrective actions, while receiving guidance from experienced Quality Engineers to ensure project activities, products, and processes conform to applicable standards and customer requirements. This position targets a May 2026 start date and is suited for recent or upcoming Engineering or Applied Science graduates. Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining projectspecific quality plans, procedures, and work instructions. Support audits and reviews of project work products to verify compliance with quality standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements. Track, document, and support the resolution of nonconformances and corrective actions under guidance from senior Quality Engineers. Support formal test and inspection activities, including First Article Tests, First Article Inspections, and periodic control tests. Validate readiness and proper use of production and test equipment for quality assurance purposes. Assist in evaluating supplier quality systems, documentation, and performance under the guidance of senior staff. Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in project review meetings, design reviews, configuration audits, and Material Review Board (MRB) activities to provide quality input. Apply company quality processes, standards, and initiatives to daytoday activities. Share knowledge, present findings, and contribute to team learning and process improvements. Qualifications Required Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Computer) or a related applied science or technical discipline. Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document results and present technical information. Enthusiastic contributor, willing to learn new skills, and takes ownership of assigned work. Ability to work effectively independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Preferred 01 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or regulated systems environments. Basic understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 90003) and ability to apply them in practice. Exposure to quality audits, inspections, or formal test verification activities. Familiarity with requirements management, defect tracking, or quality reporting tools. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma). Experience in defense, systems engineering, or complex operational environments. Awareness of supplier quality evaluation, material review, or configuration management processes. Interest in mission systems, sonar, or maritime defense programs. How We Work Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week flexible within core business hours. Work Arrangement: A mix of onsite and remote work, as determined by business and role requirements.
