Your Role In a Nutshell As the Assistant Controller , you will own the finance and accounting function at BoomerangFX. You will manage financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance, playing a central role in guiding business decisions and ensuring financial integrity. What You Will Do Prepare consolidated financial statements, monthly management reports, and analysis to support business decisions. Maintain accounting records including reconciliations, intercompany accounts, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and HST filings. Manage yearend external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors. Implement and maintain accounting controls and tools (QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float), identifying efficiencies and costsaving opportunities. Lead annual forecasting and budgeting processes. Ensure compliance with local laws, tax provisions, and relevant financial regulations. Support operational and strategic initiatives through financial insights and guidance. What We Are Looking For Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA designation in progress (or completed is an asset). 5+ years experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance leadership roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and business leaders. Thrives in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and handles ambiguity well. Experience in SaaS or highgrowth companies is preferred. Why Join BoomerangFX?
