Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, The Senior Warehouse Analyst will develop analysis to improve performance measures, enhance processes, and enable data driven decision-making for warehousing and the e-commerce business. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills for managing data, the ability to communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, share information and provide guidance to influence decisions. The incumbent is curious and can examine current practices and push productivity toward new and better ways of thinking.**Responsibilities:**Operations* Regularly engage in strategic operational meetings with L&S managers and 3PL partners to assess operational challenges, and work towards improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.* Develop comprehensive roadmaps for improving workflows and processes.* Align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with organizational directives to measure and track progress while making suggestions that would drive an increase in productivity and reduce cost.* Execute analyses with precision, ensuring insights are communicated to stakeholders.* Collect, document, and review inventory data to ensure accuracy.* Report and manage capacity constraints by understanding key drivers and provide insights on drivers.* Support the inventory count reporting program by maintaining count records in accordance with financial compliance guidelines.* Report and publish all inventory write-offs and adjustments, providing analysis by category.* Report on Inventory Accuracy (IA) and conduct root cause analysis for accuracy lower than set targets.* Investigate material shortages and adjust inventories according to established controls.* Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for existing Supply Chain processes, recommending improvements.E-Commerce Management* Function as the Supply Chain contact for our E-shop team* Monitor the performance of the eCommerce platform.* Works with courier providers to discuss performance and cost reduction opportunities.* Analyze eCommerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.* Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the eCommerce platform and report via the monthly scorecard.* Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.* Track and monitor inventory levels in the E-Shop during material and stock transfers and work with 3PL partners to ensure items are available for consumer orders.* Analyze inventory turnover and recommend strategies for efficient management.* Implement data-driven approaches to reduce stockouts and overstock situations.* Identify and resolve issues related to site speed, downtime, and usability.* Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.* Identify areas for improvement based on customer sentiments as it relates to delivery and fulfillment.* Implement changes to address consumer concerns and enhance satisfaction.* Work with the logistics manager to create forecasts for eCommerce based on expected sales.* Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for eCommerce initiatives.* Provide data-driven recommendations for achieving financial goals.Financial Management (Productivity and Cost)* Support annual & long term (5 Years) budget planning.* Assist with the preparation, development, and assembly of the yearly Distribution budget.* Regularly review and update financial forecasts based on actual performance and market conditions.* Working with Management team, provide logic and reason to period-end variances in time to support weekly and monthly meetings, as well as recommend steps to contain negative variances going forward.* Understand financial drivers to forecast, quarters, and balance of year financial outlooks.* Partner with internal supply chain teams to communicate course corrections to achieve commitments.* Analyze cost structures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.Strategic Planning / Continuous Improvement* Collaborates with 3PL partners on strategic objectives and CI activities.* Assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimize warehouse and e-shop operations.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse strategies with overall business goals.* Perform data analysis to support and identify opportunities, efficiencies, and insights for optimization initiatives.Engagement* Daily interaction with 3PL on service and cost performance metrics.* Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as External Vendors, Customer Service, E-Commerce, and Transportation* Partnering with individuals from our internal supply chain on performance**Requirements:*** Bachelors degree in business management, supply chain & logistics or a related field* 3+ years of experience in DC operations and related warehouse management systems and capabilities* E-commerce experience is an asset.* MUST HAVE experience with perishable goods and 3PL warehouse providers.* Microsoft Office expertise includes solid proficiency in Excel and Power BI* Good understanding of Regulatory Compliance* Building relationships and managing internal/external stakeholders through effective communication and engagement strategies* Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with impact to management and the broader organization as needed.* An initiative-taker, able to work across a matrix structure while requiring minimal supervision* Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)**Rewards Package**The standard hiring range for this role is $78-$98K CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus.
