Davids Bridal is hiring an Alterations Specialist to oversee fittings and alterations, ensuring a highquality, customerfocused experience. Essential Job Functions Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, communicating clearly and adapting style to suit customers. Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a fivestar customer experience. Maintain all service levels by being prepared, welcoming, meeting needs, and being present for all customers, including operational checklists and emotional support. Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to the stores fivestar customer service goal. Proactively address customer concerns with confidence, escalating when necessary and partnering with leadership. Communicate how alterations can play an important role in perfecting a dress for an event and promote all alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience. Maintain a high standard of dress that complies with the dress code policy. Greet and escort all alterations customers to and from appointments. Inspect all garments altered, steamed, and pressed to verify pristine condition before final delivery. Respond promptly to all customer questions by providing product and service information. Build longterm relationships with customers to meet and exceed satisfaction and loyalty goals. Maintain inventory management by processing special orders and pickups, ensuring firstquality standards for all merchandise. Ensure alteration pricing adheres to company standards. Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards. Resolve customer service issues swiftly and effectively in compliance with company guidelines. Support all cash wrap processes and transactions accurately to celebrate each customer experience. Keep the alterations room consistently clean and organized. Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management. Physical Demands Occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift or move up to 10 pounds. Use manual dexterity for POS, counting money, steaming garments, operating computers, and phone calls. Maintain vision for close, distant, peripheral, and depth perception during long periods of computer or device use. Education & Credentials High school diploma or equivalent. 12 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
