R10088126 Clinical Respiratory Consultant (Open) Location: MedicineHat 13thAveSE (RHS) Respiratory therapy. AirLiquide Home Healthcare Canada is a leading provider of sleep apnea tests, treatments, and home oxygen services, partnering closely with the healthcare community to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Provide all respiratory services with a focus on sleep diagnostics and therapeutics, collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety. Conduct appointments and setup equipment for sleep diagnostic testing according to American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines. Evaluate client therapies based on referrals and develop treatment plans in consultation with physicians. Initiate PAP therapy when prescribed, providing patient education, instruction on use, and equipment maintenance. Offer regular followup to evaluate therapeutic effects, recommend adjustments and modifications to increase compliance and comfort. Promote relevant products and provide solutions to client needs. Maintain current continuing education related to the position to deliver uptodate therapies and devices. Adhere to company protocols for cleaning and disinfection of all equipment. Complete all required administration tasks and maintain knowledge of funding processes and systems. Ensure quality documentation through completion of all company documentation and forms as per policy. Maintain client confidentiality and protect AirLiquide Healthcares operations. Continuously improve branch operations by evaluating processes and workflow, and participate in qualityimprovement activities. Provide new staff and student instruction, supervision, and evaluation when necessary. Qualifications Registered Nurse, RPN/LPN, or equivalent. CPSGT, RPSGT, or CCSH. College certificate or diploma in a technical/medical science field where permitted. Licensure to practice with the provincial governing body. Good knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea and CPAP therapy. Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications, and Android.
