Position Overview: RAM Construction Inc. is looking to hire an Accounting Operations Lead to join a small, collaborative finance team (23 people) in a handson role with exposure to all aspects of accounting within a growing construction business. The position offers the ability to take ownership of key processes, contribute to process improvements, and support operational decisionmaking. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full monthend close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and supporting schedules Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support cash flow management and forecasting Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and collections Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support job costing processes, including tracking project costs, budgets, and profitability Assist with Work In Progress reports (WIP) and revenue recognition analysis Partner with operations to ensure accurate project reporting and cost allocation Identify and implement process improvements, including opportunities for automation and system enhancements Final approval in TimberScan Marketing / Branding management Collaborate with construction team for all financial aspects Onboarding / Offboarding DPSP / RSP management Benefits tracking Payroll management IT support / coordination Qualifications: CPA designation (or working towards) considered an asset Experience in construction or projectbased environments preferred Strong understanding of fullcycle accounting and financial reporting Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proactive and able to take ownership in a fastpaced environment What We Offer: A collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
