A regulated career college in Ontario is seeking an experienced nursing professional in Ontario to support the exploration and potential launch of a new nursing program.We are looking for a well-connected and highly credible individual with strong knowledge of the Ontario nursing and health care landscape, particularly in relation to clinical education and program development. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level experience, established relationships in the health sector, and the ability to help identify and develop clinical placement opportunities for students.About the RoleThis is a contract-based position focused on supporting the early stages of nursing program development. The primary objective will be to help the college build the relationships, partnerships, and strategic groundwork necessary to establish clinical rotation opportunities in hospitals and other health care settings. Should the program proceed, there is potential for the role to evolve into a full-time position.Key Areas of ContributionAdvise on the Ontario nursing education and clinical placement environmentSupport outreach to hospitals and other health care organizations regarding student clinical rotationsLeverage existing sector relationships to help establish placement partnershipsProvide guidance on regulatory, professional, and operational considerations related to nursing program developmentAdvise on program feasibility, stakeholder engagement, and sector expectationsContribute informed perspectives on the needs of nursing education providers and practice partners in OntarioPreferred Qualifications and ExperienceRegistered nurse with significant experience in OntarioBoard experience with CINO strongly preferredExtensive contacts and relationships across the Ontario health sectorExperience working with colleges, universities, or other institutions involved in training nursesStrong understanding of clinical education, placement coordination, and nursing program expectationsExperience in leadership, consultation, or strategic development roles is an assetWho We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a strategic and respected nursing professional who understands both education and practice environments, and who can help bridge the gap between a prospective nursing program and the clinical partners needed to support it.If you are interested in helping shape the future of nursing education in Ontario, we would welcome the opportunity to connect.We thank all those that apply however only successful applications will be contacted.
