Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join our team.Location: Toronto, ONWorking Arrangement: Hybrid ResponsibilitiesResponsible to develop electronic tests for test and verify electronic systemsResponsible for writing C-language test scripts running on NI-based test equipment racksAble to open and read electronic schematics to be able to develop appropriate test cases and test procedures to test the units under testProduct requirements analysis and requirements decomposition for test Test systems design (National Instrument PXI/LXI and VXI products)Product and Test systems integration and Test systems validation & verification.Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Performs a variety of tasks, may lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringStrong ATE test engineering experienceExperience with C coding experienceExperience with PXI/LXI/NI test hardwareAbility to read/understand electrical schematics
