This is aplatform + distribution product roleat the intersection ofpayments, SaaS, and embedded finance. You will be responsible for defining and delivering a cohesive POS and payments offering that integrates deeply into partner ecosystems, enabling them to better acquire, monetize, and serve merchants. You will work across engineering, commercial teams, and external partners to buildscalable, API-driven payment experiences, ensuring our platform is reliable, extensible, and competitive in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.What Youll Own1. Product Strategy & VisionDefine and evolve theproduct vision and multi-year roadmapfor Dreams POS and payments platformIdentify opportunities to expand capabilities across:Merchant onboarding & lifecycle management, Payment acceptance (in-person, online, omnichannel and Value-added services (reporting, reconciliation, lending, etc.)Ensure alignment with: Enterprise partner strategies (acquirers, ISOs, banks) and SMB merchant needsIndustry and regulatory trendsDrivebuild vs. buy vs. partnerdecisions2. Platform Product DevelopmentOwn the design and evolution ofmodular platform capabilitiesTranslate complex partner and internal requirements into: Product specs, System-level requirements, Clear, prioritized backlogsPartner with engineering on: Architecture decisions, Scalability, performance, and reliabilityTechnical trade-offs and sequencingEnsure the platform supports: Multi-tenant deployments, Partner customization, and High transaction volumes and uptimeIdentify opportunities to embed AI-driven capabilities into the platform, such as: Intelligent routing and payment optimization, Fraud detection enhancements, Merchant insights and analytics and Automated reconciliation and exception handling3. End-to-End Product DeliveryLead product execution fromdiscovery delivery iterationWrite high-quality: Product requirement documents (PRDs) and User stories and acceptance criteriaParticipate in sprint planning, estimation, and release planningEnsureon-time, high-quality deliveryacross multiple concurrent initiativesDriverelease readinesswith cross-functional stakeholdersLeverage AI tools to improve: Speed and quality of product documentation, Test case generation and QA workflows, and Cross-team knowledge sharing and alignmentContinuously evaluate and adopt tools that increase product team efficiency and reduce cycle time4. Partner & Client EngagementAct as a key product contact forenterprise clients and merchant acquirersWork directly with partners to: Understand their distribution models and go-to-market strategies, Gather requirements and validate solutions, Support implementations and integrationsCollaborate with: Sales (deal support, solution positioning), Customer Success (adoption and expansion), and Implementation teams (rollouts and onboarding)5. Payments & POS Domain OwnershipOwn the evolution of: POS software capabilities, Payment acceptance flows (card-present, card-not-present), Device integrations and terminal ecosystemsEnsure seamless experiences across: Hardware, Software, Payment processing layersStay ahead of trends in: Embedded payments, SoftPOS / Tap-to-Pay, and Omnichannel commerce6. Data, Performance & ReliabilityDefine and monitor key product and platform KPIs, including: Payment success and authorization rates, Transaction latency and throughput, Platform uptime and SLA adherence, and Merchant and partner adoptionUse data to: Identify bottlenecks and failure points and Drive prioritization and continuous improvementPartner with engineering and ops to ensurehigh availability and resilienceQualifications1)Experience58+ years of product management experience in: Payments, fintech, or financial services and POS, SaaS, or platform-based productsProven experience deliveringtechnical, API-driven platformsExperience working withenterprise clients or B2B2B / B2B2C modelsStrong track record of working closely with engineering teams on complex systemsExperience working with or alongsideAI/ML-powered products or platforms, or applying AI tools within product development workflows2)Core SkillsAbility to translatebusiness problems into scalable technical solutionsStrong understanding of: API design and integrations, Distributed systems and cloud architectures and SaaS and platform product modelsExcellent communication skills (native English) across: Technical teams, Business stakeholders and External partnersStrong prioritization and decision-making in ambiguous environments3) AI & Automation in Product DevelopmentExperience leveraging AI / Generative AI tools to accelerate product development workflows (e.g., requirements generation, prototyping, documentation, testing)Ability to incorporate AI into:Product discovery (summarizing research, extracting insights)Backlog creation and refinementWriting PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteriaFamiliarity with tools such as:LLM-based agents (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot)AI-assisted analytics and reporting toolsStrong understanding of prompt design and iterative refinement to improve output quality and team productivityAbility to evaluate where AI can meaningfully improve team velocity vs. introduce risk or noise4)Industry Knowledge (Highly Preferred)Deep understanding of thepayments ecosystem, including: Acquirers, processors, gateways, and payment networksKnowledge of: Card-present and card-not-present flows, Authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation and POS hardware and terminal ecosystemsFamiliarity with: PCI compliance and security considerations and Merchant onboarding (KYC/KYB)Exposure toembedded finance or vertical SaaSis a strong plusWhat Success Looks LikeA clearly defined and executed roadmap aligned with partner needsSuccessful delivery of scalable POS and payments capabilitiesStrong adoption and satisfaction from enterprise partnersMeasurable improvements in platform performance and reliabilityA flexible platform that enables rapid partner onboarding and growthDemonstrated improvements in team productivity and delivery velocity through effective use of AI-enabled workflowsIdentification and delivery of AI-driven product enhancements that improve platform performance or partner valueDream Payments is an equal opportunity employer.
