Were supporting the search for a Manager of Technical Architecture to join a growing Managed Services organization in a highly impactful, leadership-facing role. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys stepping into complex technical challenges, and can elevate both the technical function and overall operational maturity of an MSP.What you will do:Act as the senior technical escalation point for high-priority client issues, driving rapid assessment and resolution Translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable plans for Service Desk, Network Operations, and Project teams Lead and mentor a team of technical managers across Professional Services, Service Desk, Network Operations, and Procurement Partner with senior leadership to align technical capabilities with business growth and expansion goals Drive operational maturity across the MSP, implementing scalable processes and best practices to support enterprise clients Review and enhance technical documentation standards to improve consistency, knowledge sharing, and long-term stability Step in during critical incidents to provide hands-on technical direction and creative problem-solvingSupport organizational growth initiatives, including expansion into new marketsWhat were looking for:Core requirementsProven experience leading operations within a large or enterprise-level Managed Service Provider (MSP) Strong hands-on technical background, with the ability to actively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues Experience managing multiple technical teams and leaders across different functions Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior escalation point in high-pressure environments Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for both technical teams and business stakeholders High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability for client outcomes Comfortable working in evolving environments with developing processes and structuresNice to haveExperience helping scale or mature an MSP environment toward enterprise-level service delivery Background supporting growth or expansion into new regions or markets Exposure to a broad range of infrastructure, networking, and service delivery technologies Experience building or improving internal processes, documentation, and operational frameworksLocation:Open across Ontario, with flexibility for remote work. Preference for candidates based near Owen Sound or Ottawa, aligned with current and future growth plans.
