Join Our Service Team as a Service Advisor!Are you a technical expert with a knack for customer service? Were looking for a Service Advisor to join the Service Department at LJs Welding Automation. This is a dynamic role where youll act as the vital link between our customers, our skilled technicians, and management to keep operations running smoothly.What Youll DoAs a Service Advisor, your day will be a mix of administrative efficiency and hands-on support:Customer & Technical Support: Handle incoming inquiries and provide basic troubleshooting over the phone.Order Management: Efficiently process incoming service and repair orders.Quoting: Accurately quote spare parts for both our production and custom equipment.Team Collaboration: Support our shop technicians with their requests and provide hands-on assistance on the floor when needed.Departmental Coverage: Provide ongoing support for all customers and stand in for the Service Manager as required.Who You AreWe are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing office tasks with technical shop-floor interaction.You have 5+ years of experience in a service/parts role and 5+ years in customer service.You understand basic mechanical and electrical systems.You have strong verbal communication skills and can explain technical concepts clearly.You possess excellent computer skills for documentation and order processing.A Red Seal Ticket (Millwright, Mechanic, or Parts Technician), forklift certification, or the ability to repair equipment will set you apart.The EnvironmentWhile primarily office-based, youll spend time in the shop or yard interacting with the team (PPE provided).Youll be part of a team-oriented culture that values attention to detail.Must be comfortable with occasional overtime and working under pressure to meet customer needs.Ready to apply?
