This role sits within an enterprise application development environment and plays a key part in building scalable, high-quality digital products.You will collaborate closely with Lead Developers, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver modern frontend applications. This role blends UX thinking with strong frontend engineering, acting as the bridge between design and technical implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate high-fidelity UI and UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBuild and maintain complex web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, or VueIntegrate frontend components with RESTful and GraphQL APIsDevelop interactive prototypes and validate user workflowsSupport user research, usability testing, and persona developmentOptimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility compliance (WCAG)Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibilityCollaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to assess feasibility and refine solutionsContribute to reusable components, design systems, and frontend standardsParticipate in best practices around code quality, CI/CD, and Agile deliveryQualifications3 to 5 plus years of experience in a UX frontend developer roleDegree or diploma in Software Development, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experienceStrong expertise with Figma or similar design toolsAdvanced experience with React and TypeScriptSolid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)Experience integrating with REST and GraphQL APIsWorking knowledge of Python and DjangoFamiliarity with coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Agile methodologiesStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisionsProactive problem solver with ownership mindsetComfortable working in collaborative and distributed teamsCommitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibilityRequirementsMinimum 3 to 5 plus years of relevant experienceBilingual in English and FrenchAdditional InformationInitial contract duration of approximately 1 yearPotential renewal options may be available and will be confirmed during the contract process
