Job Description

SGGG Fund Services Inc. is hiring a Trust Banking Officer for its Investor Services department. This entry-level role involves providing back-office administration and support to investment fund managers by making wire payments, processing EFTs, and reconciling account statements.The successful candidate will have an interest in financial services, strong communication skills, experience using Microsoft Excel, and shares the values of teamwork and customer service.Please note, this is not an accounting or finance stream role.Core ResponsibilitiesMaking wire payments, processing EFTs, preparing and issuing cheques for: invoice or trade processing and other paymentsPreparing and confirming Fundserv (N$M) payments are processed successfullyProducing and delivering daily settlement reports to clientsReconciling trust account statements, investigating and following up on breaksProviding back-office support to investment fund managersAny other reasonable duties as required by management/leadershipQualificationsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or higherOR one year of professional experience (Example: Bank Teller)OR transferrable work experience (Example: Accounts Payable/Receivable)Requirements:Reliability and attention to detailThrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skillsAbility to handle repetitive tasks and meet multiple daily deadlinesStrong sense of accountabilityProficiency with Excel and simple math calculationsEfficient communication, teamwork and customer service skillsAsset:Prior experience with FundservPrior experience in trade settlements and/or clearingAbout SGGG Fund Services Inc.SGGG Fund Services is Canadas largest independent administrator of alternative funds with over $120 billion (CAD) under administration.
