The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Manager (known internally as a Practice Leader) to join our leadership team and help build out the Accounts team within the Sales department at Zensurance. In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of our Commercial Insurance Accounts and own the processes and customer experience to support a fantastic customer journey. Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll be leading a team of leaders, focusing on coaching the coach to elevate our management standards. You'll bring a deep customer service background to lift the skills of the entire department. ResponsibilitiesCoaching the Coach: Develop the leadership and coaching skills of your Team Leads to ensure they are effectively supporting and growing their own teamsService Excellence: Use your strong customer service background to set a high bar and lift service standards across the Accounts departmentContinuous Learning: Focus on your own growth and inspire others to keep learning and developingOperational Leadership: Own and lead high-visibility forums including Monthly Business Reviews and Town Halls for groups of 50+, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the departmentPerformance Management: Work with HR to manage and exit low performers, and teach leads how to navigate these processes effectivelyEmpowering Teams: Build up colleagues and inspire them to tackle challenges beyond their perceived limitsPerformance Results: Drive performance to exceed targets through impactful team meetings and performance plansTalent Development: Assist in onboarding and training of new talent to set them up for success from day oneGrowth Strategy: Design and drive upsell and cross-sell campaigns to boost top-line growthOperational Excellence: Own process improvements and documentation to improve the customer experience and retentionCustomer Journey: Map out and improve the customer journey to elevate satisfaction as measured through Net Promoter Score RequirementsInsurance Expertise: 4+ years of experience in commercial insuranceLeadership Background: 8+ years in an insurance management roleLeading Leaders: Experience in a '+leader of leaders' role with mentoring and developing management-level staffService Background: Strong background in high-level customer service with a track record of improving team-wide service metricsHigh-Velocity Environment: Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentsStrategic Growth: Ability to drive process improvements and deliver growth in line with business goals and KPIsLicensing: A valid RIBO license is requiredIndustry Designations: CIP, CRM, or CAIB designations are preferred but not required CompensationAt Zensurance, we hire for talent and potential. The total cash compensation range including OTE for this role is $117,000, with a top earning potential of $142,000. The annual base salary range is a nationwide market range and represents salaries across the country. Actual salary will depend on the scope, complexity, location, and candidate qualifications.
