Job Purpose GSK is looking to hire a Therapeutic Specialist, Hepatology to join our Specialty Care & Innovation Business Unit. This role is field-based covering the Alberta & Manitoba territories and reports directly to the Hepatology National Sales Manager. The ideal candidate must reside within the responsible territory to ensure effective local engagement and coverage. As a Therapeutic Specialist, Hepatology, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSKs Hepatology portfolio. Your role includes leading business development initiatives, fostering meaningful customer relationships, and collaborating crossfunctionally to ensure successful implementation of marketing strategies, working closely with Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education Managers, System Solutions Manager, the Marketing team, and other internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic business plans tailored to your territory, setting and achieving both short and longterm goals. Build strong, trustbased relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and clinic decisionmakers, and allied healthcare stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes. Design and drive unique, customerfocused initiatives to build GSK advocacy, accelerate launch uptake and future portfolio growth. Engage in meaningful scientific discussions with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of Hepatology medicine(s). Collaborate with crossfunctional colleagues to develop and execute programs that improve patient care and align with brand strategies. Navigate challenges within your territory effectively and leverage business acumen to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities. Prepare and manage territory budgets with accountability for resource allocation. Conduct impactful daily customer calls to drive measurable contributions to patient access and market growth. Execute field programs such as Lunch & Learns, scientific engagements, and other educational initiatives. Ensure all activities align with internal compliance and regulatory standards while consistently acting with integrity. Manage complex multistakeholder Hepatology environments, balancing immediate patient needs with longterm growth objectives. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in life sciences, marketing, or related field. Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Hepatology or proven success launching products in competitive markets. Strong working knowledge of scientific research study interpretation and functional data analysis techniques. Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong relationshipbuilding skills with healthcare professionals, physicians, and hospital stakeholders. Proven ability to build and maintain a network of healthcare stakeholders and access to physician networks. Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills with exposure to crossfunctional teams (medical, marketing, government affairs). Selfstarter with ability to work autonomously and drive business growth. Resultsoriented with ability to proactively identify opportunities and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. High learning agility and adaptability in fastpaced, evolving environments. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within a large geography while optimizing travel efficiency. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle eligibility). Preferred Qualifications Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including local market dynamics and provider networks within the territory. Experience working with Hepatology centers.
