City Wide Facility Solutions PEEL is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Night Operations Manager to oversee nightly facility operations across multiple commercial sites. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring janitorial and maintenance services consistently meet and exceed client expectations. You will coordinate independent contractors, conduct quality assurance inspections, and resolve operational issues in real time during the night shift. As a Night Operations Manager, you will serve as the quality assurance lead across a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) - Bolton, Caledon, Brampton, Mississauga, selective areas of Oakville, Ontario. Each night, you will travel your assigned route, inspect facilities, and work directly with independent contractors to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual standards. City Wide is a facility management company, not a service provider. We coordinate 50+ building services including janitorial, HVAC, floor care, window cleaning, and more, acting as a single point of contact for building owners. Your role is to ensure our contractor network delivers on those commitments. This position is designed for operations professionals looking to build a long-term career. Night Operations Managers develop strong expertise in vendor management, building operations, and client service creating a direct pathway into Facility Solutions Manager roles responsible for full client portfolios during daytime operations. Part-time After-Hours (Night shift) role. Nightly Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance inspections across assigned commercial properties Verify independent contractor compliance with scope of work and service standards Identify, address, and resolve service issues on-site during nightly operations Perform detailed audits of lobbies, restrooms, offices, and common areas Orient and guide new independent contractors on building requirements and expectations Prepare and submit detailed nightly reports to the Facility Solutions Manager / Director of Operations In certain situations, perform basic cleaning or corrective tasks on-site to address immediate service gaps, support contingency needs, and ensure uninterrupted client service delivery Expected Start Date 15th May 2026 to 1st June 2026 Position Requirements Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for nightly route coverage Availability for second shift (approximately 6:00 PM 1:00 AM, Monday to Sunday) Strong organizational skills to manage multi-site inspections efficiently Clear and professional communication skills for contractor coordination and reporting Demonstrated proactive, solution-oriented mindset when handling operational challenges Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage your assigned route What Sets You Apart Experience in quality assurance, vendor management, or field operations Background in facility services, property management, or commercial real estate Familiarity with building maintenance, service delivery, or contractor oversight Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) considered an asset Experience with handyman tasks or general maintenance work Ability to perform basic cleaning or hands-on facility tasks when required to support operational contingencies and ensure uninterrupted client service delivery Compensation $18$22 per hour based on experience (part-time, approximately 20 hours/week) Vehicle allowance for use of personal vehicle during nightly route coverage Company provided laptop and mobile phone to support effective job execution Growth Opportunities Comprehensive training across all facility management service categories Clear development pathway into daytime Facility Solutions Manager roles Opportunity to transition from part-time to full-time employment based on performance and business needs Long-term career growth within City Wide Facility Solutions, including advancement into Facility Solutions Manager (FSM) roles responsible for managing full client portfolios Exposure to GTAs expanding commercial facilities market Opportunity to build a career in a stable, essential, and recession-resilient industry City Wide is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
