Job Description

Responsibilities Assist Camp Coordinators and Indigenous Programs Coordinator with daily activities for campers at overnight and day camp. Provide attentive supervision during assigned activities. Establish relationships with campers based on genuine interest and mutual respect. Participate in smudging, sweat lodges, medicine picking and other cultural activities alongside the campers. Provide a positive role model for campers by exhibiting an upbeat, cooperative, and friendly attitude always. Be knowledgeable about the objectives and rules of the Coyote Kids program. Help campers learn and follow rules to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Be a problemsolver but ask for help when necessary. Be punctual, organized, and follow directions. Requirements Must be a high school or Post Secondary student and returning to studies in Fall 2027 and be aged 15-30 years old as per requirements of Canada Summer Jobs Program. Able to work overnight summer camps and daycamp in July and August 2026. Must have work/or volunteer experience working with children and youth. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers and other camp staff. Must have a clear Criminal record check and Child intervention check, if over age 18 (must be within 6 months) before start of employment. Successful candidates start employment on Monday June 29, 2026, to end date of August 21, 2026, for 8 weeks. Must have own transportation to and from work. Apply with a cover letter and resume to .
