We have developed a ground-breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heartrelated complications. Kardiums mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System a product with strong, unique, and customervalued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this lifechanging technology to patients. As a member of the Systems Engineering team, you will gain experience in the design, development, requirements management, and manufacturing transfer of an innovative and highly complex medical device in the rapidly changing field of electrophysiology. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team across multiple business functions, you will apply your analytical skills and knowledge of electrical or mechatronic systems to facilitate effective medical device design control. Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC. Meaningful work you will be a part of Developing and improving product, user, and business requirements Developing an understanding of medical device design control and QMS processes, including requirement development, risk management, and regulatory standard compliance Building product trace matrices to facilitate effective design control Ensuring adequate design transfer to manufacturing through improvement of design output tracing through to manufacturing process outputs What you bring to the team Our Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about creating cuttingedge medical devices to help improve peoples lives.
