Your Role: Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Intelligence, the Manager, Digital Solutions will oversee the technology landscape, drive innovation, and establish processes and procedures to support scalable, standardized solution design, development, implementation, and operations. As a valued member of the Enterprise Intelligence team, the Manager, Digital Solutions will lead a cross-functional team that serves as the primary liaison and trusted advisors between IT and clinical and clinical support teams. The incumbent will also oversee a corporate applications team responsible for product management and the seamless operation of digital solutions that support corporate and administrative functions, improve patient care delivery, and enhance operational efficiency. The Manager requires significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to IT, business administration, and clinical and business workflows. The successful incumbent will also have an enterprise view of the organization and effectively demonstrate both design-thinking and systems-thinking to solve problems, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities for improvement or transformation. Additionally, the Manager will ensure compliance with various accreditation, licensing, professional regulatory, safety standards, and laws. They will align these programs with Niagara Health''s strategic plan, relevant legislation, and multi-union collective agreements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance and strong collaboration Monitor operational effectiveness using KPIs and uphold all regulatory and accreditation standards Develop and manage quality control and quality assurance programs Effectively manage human, financial, and capital resources, including budgeting and procurement Use financial reporting and analysis to guide data driven decisions and maintain budget adherence Collaborate with various departments to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support development of service delivery Ensure staff training, certification, and compliance with safety standards and emerging technologies Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners Develop, plan, and execute the product roadmap for IT platforms and integrations that align with Niagara Health''s corporate Strategic Plan, while driving the reuse and rationalization of digital solutions Work with technology vendors to ensure IT systems and platforms are optimized for performance, security, interoperability, and user experience including managing development, analysis, customization, testing, upgrades, and product enhancements Interpret, clarify, and respond to requests for system content or design changes, upgrades, and enhancements including gathering requirements and assessing the impact of the requests on all integrated systems and on the workflow for end-users Establish and maintain strong working relationships among IT, ePMO, and business units/programs to ensure requests and requirements for digital solutions are aligned to Niagara Health''s Strategic Plan and have a strong business case for increased value Develop a deep understanding of business units and programs to assist in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with Niagara Health''s Strategic Plan, providing maximum return on investment, and directing IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy Collaborate with IT leadership and senior leadership to align IT strategies with organizational goals and priorities Support and provide guidance on the development of business cases, briefing notes, and similar communication artifacts that may be used for decision-making and/or investment prioritization Provide guidance and leadership on the design, implementation, and management of integrations and integration solutions to ensure seamless and secure data flow between systems and compliance with applicable healthcare legislation and other relevant standards and policies Help to define and communicate the long-term strategy and product development lifecycle or process for platforms and IT systems. Oversee the development and ongoing management of project and operational budgets as well as resource plans ensuring effective use of health human and fiscal resources Stay abreast of new digital health technologies and their ability to provide a competitive edge Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions or capabilities Qualifications: University degree specializing in Business, Project Management, Health Informatics, or a related health discipline Master''s degree is considered an asset PMP, PgMP or CBAP certifications considered an asset 10+ years of experience in health IT, including at least 5 years in a people leadership role with direct reports 5+ years leading complex initiatives in a health care environment Proven experience implementing and/or supporting health information systems, enterprise business platforms, and system integrations Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges, regulatory landscape, and operational requirements Strong understanding of healthcare data integration standards, interoperability frameworks, and regulatory requirements (PHIPA, HIPAA, HITECH) Strong project management expertise with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery Demonstrated experience in budget development, fiscal planning, and financial management, with a proven ability to monitor and control expenditures in line with organizational goals and priorities Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost analysis, and variance analysis, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to ensure budget adherence and optimize resource allocation Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team environment, encouraging participation, respect, and cooperation to achieve desired outcomes Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support the delivery of safe, effective, efficient, innovative, and high-quality services Excellent organizational, leadership, judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Proven analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and in a unionized environment Questions, quoting the job posting number, may be directed to How to Apply: If you are interested in this position, please visit our careers page by 11:59pm May 1, 2026 and submit an application through eRecruit.
