Our a client, a profitable and growing manufacturing company is looking for a Controller with an opportunity to mold the finance team. Reporting into the CEO, this Controller position will have the following responsibilities: - Own full-cycle accounting (GL, AR, AP, payroll oversight, inventory, fixed assets) - Lead monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements - Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls - Prepare lender reporting packages and support covenant calculations - Strengthen standard costing discipline - Validate inventory valuation and cycle count processes - Improve cost of goods accuracy and margin reporting - Align ERP data with operational reality - Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts - Improve AR visibility and collections reporting - Monitor AP discipline and payment timing - Support borrowing base and working capital reporting requirements - Improve accounting workflows within ERP - Reduce manual adjustments and reconciliation inefficiencies - Ensure finance, sales, and inventory modules are aligned - Manage and mentor bookkeeper - Provide clear financial structure and process discipline - Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership Requirements - Prior Controller or Senior Accounting Manager experience in a manufacturing environment - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience - Strong inventory accounting and standard costing experience - Experience preparing lender reporting packages - ERP experience - Hands on and detail oriented - Comfortable building structure in evolving organizations - Strong communication skills Additional Information: The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
