Our client is a privately owned company in the IT equipment security space, with major clients across North America. They are based in Mississauga and operate in a small, entrepreneurial environment. They are looking to bring on a Bookkeeper / Office Manager, who will effectively be the top finance person within the business. This is a highly hands-on role with full ownership of the accounting function, combined with day-to-day office management responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role and is comfortable operating independently, while also supporting broader office needs. Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to: - Full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks (must-have) - Manage AP/AR, bank and credit card reconciliations - Support month-end close and financial reporting - Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and filings - Maintain accurate and organized financial records - Oversee office operations including vendors, supplies, and general administration - Support leadership with ad hoc reporting and coordination Assist with payroll coordination and other administrative tasks as needed TMGNY Job Requirements - Strong full-cycle accounting / bookkeeping experience - Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (must-have) - Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Office Manager role (required) - Experience working in a small company / owner-operated environment (critical) - Comfortable operating as the sole finance / accounting resource - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Willingness to be hands-on and support broader office needs - Strong communication skills Additional Information: The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
