Job Summary To accurately provide inventory information for company controlled material stock. This position is responsible for all the functions that support the flow of materials from inventory to the production line. Key Accountabilities - Create and maintain regular material control reports for management - Updates inventory management system - Tracks part number adjustments - Updates and monitors inventory adjustments - Enters cycle count results - Develops part to part transfers - Assign location in inventory for incoming materials - Investigates inventory error and location/assignment errors - Assist in internal and external material audits - Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work - Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements - Complete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE when required - Assist in any other duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager - Meets all other TKMNA employee attributes and competencies The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Qualifications Minimum Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems - Solid proficiency using MS Office software, particularly with Excel and Outlook - Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges - Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems - Proven high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry, including stock locations and tag accuracies - Knowledge of all database programs used and their impact on material control functions (to include Titan, MASS, and/or SAP as required) - Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing (including e-mail), and to train others - Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. - Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-picker Preferred Requirements - College coursework leading toward completion of at least a 2-year degree Benefits Overview - Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - Life Insurance and Disability - Voluntary Wellness Programs - 401(k) and RRSP programs with Company Match - Paid Vacation and Holidays - Tuition Reimbursement - And more!
