Financial Services Associate - Full Time - Mutual Fund Licensed Job Category: Retail Requisition Number: FINAN007218 - Posted: April 13, 2026 - FullTime - Onsite Location Pickering, 1550 Kingston Rd., Unit 25, Pickering, ON L1V 1C3,CAN Responsibilities - Understand Members financial needs and provide appropriate advice and recommendations. - Offer large or more complex credit and investment advice. - Meet and exceed specific individual and team business goals. - Manage Member portfolios and build lasting relationships. - Provide investment advice by identifying and promoting solutions that meet Member needs. - Recommend credit products based on accurate credit interviewing and underwriting skills. - Engage in revenuegeneration and sales activities to achieve performance objectives; build external centres of influence to optimise sales and service results. - Use provided tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all Members to deepen relationships and provide flawless service experiences. - Embrace virtual technology platforms to host meetings and engage in impactful communication with Members. - Maintain discretion and confidentiality, respecting Member privacy. - Act as an engaged teammate and trusted partner to build and cultivate internal relationships within the Member Experience teams and crossfunctional departments. - Demonstrate empathy with colleagues, promoting inclusivity and belonging. - Participate in individual learning and development to align with Meridian values. - Support leadership team in planning, implementation and providing feedback. - Take on leadership responsibilities when the Branch Manager is away and act as a role model. - Promote Meridian Credit Union through community activities and events. - Support local community organisations via Business Development and Good Neighbour Program. Qualifications - Recent university graduate with a 4year degree in Business or Economics. - Strong business and financial industry knowledge with a desire for career growth within financial services. - At minimum, MFDA licensing is required. - Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and Saturdays. - Proven understanding of computer systems and programmes including Microsoft Office and Outlook. - Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including coaching and leadership skills. - Effective organisational, timemanagement and problemsolving skills. - Comfortable learning and adopting new digital tools, with an openness to using AIenabled technology.
