MRI Technologist - Competition #2026-753 Position Status: Regular, Full-time (1.0 FTE) EFW Radiology is currently seeking a MRI Technologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care! About EFW EFW Radiology owns and operates eleven community-based clinics providing Diagnostic Imaging, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Pain Management services. The Role MRI Technologists are responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in an efficient and effective manner while providing exceptional patient care. Reporting to: This position directly reports to the Nuclear Medicine, Bone Mineral Density, and MRI Supervisor. Role Overview - Perform MRI procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines. - Compile and verify patient histories and screening forms. - Adhere to MRI Safety Policies and Procedures. - Assess and evaluate MRI images to aid in diagnoses. - Communicate professionally with patients, educating them on examination requirements and promoting MRI safety. - Ensure accurate documentation and collaborate with Radiologists when needed. Qualifications - Diploma or certificate from a recognized MRI technology program, either completed or expected upon graduation. - Current CAMRT/ACMDTT registration and Alberta license. - Sound judgment and effective decisionmaking skills. - Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities. - Commitment to compassionate patient care. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. - Proficiency in RIS software, including PACS and Netcare.
