About APPIE APPIE is RapidCents enterprise platform for payment interoperability, migration, routing, certification, settlement visibility, and evidence-driven operations. It is being built to help processors, gateways, and enterprise payment organizations modernize payment environments safely, with clear controls, migration confidence, and strong operational visibility. Role Summary RapidCents is looking for a strong, highly organized Project Manager to lead APPIE across internal execution and external processor-facing delivery. This person will coordinate work between developers, QA, product, implementation, operations, security, and leadership, while also leading proof of concept projects, pilot programs, onboarding readiness, and early post-deal processor relationship management. This is not a passive reporting role. The right person will help turn APPIE into a disciplined, enterprise-ready program by keeping delivery aligned, risks visible, customer expectations realistic, and launch readiness evidence-based. The role is especially important because APPIEs success depends on strong migration trust, pilot readiness, operational completeness, and support readiness, not just shipping features. Key Responsibilities 1) Internal delivery and cross-functional program management - Own the end to end project plan for APPIE across product, engineering, QA, implementation, operations, security, and support. - Drive daily, weekly, and milestone-based execution rhythms, including standups, readiness reviews, dependency tracking, action follow-up, and escalation management. - Translate product roadmap goals into structured delivery plans with clear owners, priorities, timelines, risks, and release readiness gates. - Keep all workstreams aligned so that product, engineering, payments, UX, security, and operations move as one coordinated program. - Maintain status reporting for leadership, including roadmap progress, blockers, pilot readiness, launch dependencies, and decision logs. - Make sure support documentation, migration kits, onboarding materials, and runbooks are prepared alongside the product, not after the fact. 2) APPIE proof of concept and pilot program leadership - Lead processor and enterprise customer proof of concept engagements from kickoff through scope definition, timeline control, stakeholder coordination, testing, pilot readiness, and executive reporting. - Define and track pilot success criteria, validation checkpoints, rollback readiness, support ownership, and go o-go gates. - Coordinate internal teams for certification, replay evidence, migration readiness, gateway onboarding, alerting, reporting, security checks, and operational runbooks. - Ensure each pilot is managed with clear evidence, realistic scope, and accurate communication of what is supported, what is partial, and what still requires work. - Work closely with processor-side stakeholders during sandbox, pilot, and first-production phases to reduce risk and build trust. 3) Processor onboarding, migration coordination, and launch readiness - Coordinate APPIE migration activities such as observe, shadow, dual-run, canary, and phased rollout planning with internal teams and processor stakeholders. - Track readiness around compatibility truth, settlement rules, reconciliation expectations, support boundaries, and incident/rollback plans. - Help organize tenant and processor onboarding, training implementation checklists, migration guides, and executive readiness reviews. - Keep launch programs disciplined so they do not rely on hidden engineering-only work or unsupported assumptions. 4) Post-deal processor relationship management - Serve as a trusted operational point of contact for processors and enterprise customers after contract signature and through early delivery, onboarding, rollout, and adoption. - Manage relationship continuity between sales, implementation, product, engineering, and support. - Run regular customer status reviews, action trackers, issue coordination, expectation management, and escalation follow-up. - Bring customer feedback, rollout pain points, support gaps, and commercialization needs back into the APPIE roadmap. - Help build long-term trust by ensuring customers receive clear communication, strong follow-through, and honest support boundaries. 5) Governance, risk, and operational discipline - Maintain RAID logs, launch checklists, pilot checklists, meeting notes, decision registers, and customer-facing action plans. - Push teams to close gaps in support readiness, documentation, migration guidance, and operational usability. - Coordinate evidence-based go o-go reviews for pilot, first production tenant, enterprise rollout, and processor-grade commercialization milestones. - Help ensure APPIE is represented accurately in front of customers and partners, especially where support is path-specific or still evolving. Required Qualifications - 5+ years of project management, program management, delivery management, or implementation leadership experience in payments, fintech, enterprise SaaS, or regulated B2B software. - Proven experience coordinating developers, QA, product managers, operations teams, and executive stakeholders. - Proven experience managing customer proof of concepts, pilot programs, implementations, or enterprise onboarding projects. - Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills. - Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing control of detail, deadlines, or stakeholder alignment. - Comfortable working in technical environments involving APIs, gateways, webhooks, dashboards, release readiness, migration flows, and operational controls. - Able to challenge over-commitment, keep teams honest, and maintain evidence-based communication with customers and leadership. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with payment processors, gateways, acquirers, ISOs, banks, or enterprise payment infrastructure. - Experience with host migration, certification, settlement/reconciliation, rollout governance, or enterprise implementation programs. - Experience managing products that involve high-risk workflows, approvals, audits, operational dashboards, or regulated environments. - Familiarity with rollout patterns such as shadow, dual-run, canary, phased migration, and rollback readiness. - Experience supporting post-sale enterprise accounts during the first phases of implementation and adoption. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: - APPIE delivery becomes more predictable, organized, and accountable across teams. - Processor POCs and pilots move forward with clear ownership, timelines, and evidence-based readiness. - Customer onboarding and early enterprise delivery become structured instead of reactive. - Product, engineering, QA, implementation, and support stay aligned on priorities and support boundaries. - Processor relationships are strong, professional, and well managed after enterprise deals are signed. - Leadership has better visibility into roadmap status, pilot risk, launch readiness, and operational blockers. Why Join RapidCents for APPIE This is a chance to help shape a major enterprise payments platform at a critical stage. APPIE is ambitious, technically strong, and strategically important, but it requires disciplined execution, honest communication, and strong cross-functional leadership to become truly enterprise-ready. This role will be central to making that happen. This is a 100% in-person position with no remote or hybrid option, so please apply only if you are able to commute and work on-site every day. #J-18808-Ljbffr
